Celebrating Excellence: NJHS Induction Ceremony Highlights
Last Thursday, April 2, our school proudly hosted the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Induction
Ceremony—an inspiring evening dedicated to recognizing the outstanding achievements and character of
our newest members.
Family, friends, staff, and community members gathered to honor students who exemplify the five
pillars of NJHS: scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. The ceremony began
with a formal processional, followed by meaningful remarks that highlighted the purpose and values
of NJHS. One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the candle-lighting ceremony, where
each pillar was symbolized and brought to life, reminding us all of the qualities these students
strive to uphold.
We were especially honored to welcome our guest speaker, Pablo Ibanez Granado, a proud alumnus of
Toltec Elementary School, whose message inspired students to reflect on their journey and the impact
they can make moving forward. Adding to the significance of the evening, our school principal, Mrs.
Hall, and superintendent, Dr. Michelle Poppen, shared heartfelt congratulatory remarks, recognizing
the dedication and accomplishments of each inductee.
The highlight of the evening was the official induction of our new members, as they received their
stoles and certificates—marking the beginning of their journey as NJHS scholars and leaders.
We are incredibly proud of our inductees and look forward to the many ways they will continue to
serve and inspire others.
