The National Junior Honor Society recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Character.
Membership is one of the highest honors awarded to middle school students and reflects a strong commitment to school and community.
NJHS is an honor that must be earned and maintained each year.
Students must record and verify hours using the NJHS Service Hours Log. Service opportunities may include:

Community Cleanups
Peer Tutoring
Volunteer work with local organizations
Logs are submitted to the NJHS adviser for review.
Elected officers lead the chapter and serve as role models for all members. All officers must remain in good standing throughout their term.

Failure to meet expectations may result in disciplinary review or membership consequences.
A formal induction ceremony is held each spring to recognize new members and celebrate their accomplishments.
