Mr. Cardenas consistently goes above and beyond for our students and our school community. As our Science teacher and a football coach, he brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine care for students into everything he does.

Recently, I received an email from a football referee who took the time to compliment our students on their respectful attitudes and behavior during a game. That kind of positive feedback speaks volumes about the values being instilled in our students. Mr. Cardenas plays a significant role in teaching our students not only how to be successful in the classroom and on the field, but also how to be respectful, responsible, and good representatives of Toltec.

Mr. Cardenas always has the best intentions for our students and is a strong advocate for them. Before school even started, while I was outside picking up trash during Meet the Teacher, Mr. Cardenas stepped in and took over without hesitation. That simple act is a perfect example of the kind of person he is—he sees what needs to be done and takes action to help.

This year, Mr. Cardenas has also stepped up to lead Site Council and serves on our School Safety Team. He continues to give his time, energy, and talents in ways that make our entire school stronger.

Mr. Cardenas, thank you for being someone our students can look up to, for setting high expectations, for advocating for our kids, and for always being willing to go the extra mile. Your positive influence reaches far beyond your classroom, and we are incredibly fortunate to have you as part of our Toltec Tiger family!

Denisse Lara

Every great school has people behind the scenes who make sure everything runs smoothly, and we are incredibly fortunate to have an administrative assistant who does exactly that every single day.

She goes above and beyond to ensure our school operates efficiently and that staff and students have the support they need. She is organized, dependable, hardworking, and always willing to jump in and help wherever she is needed. She is someone we can count on, and her consistency and dedication make a tremendous difference to our entire school community.

She is also heavily involved in athletics and can often be found at sporting events cheering on our students and supporting our athletes. Her involvement shows how much she cares about our students—not just during the school day, but in all of their activities and accomplishments.

She is an important member of our School Safety Team and takes that responsibility seriously. She is also always willing to support her coworkers, and this year she has even stepped in to help our sister school with various tasks. Her willingness to share her time and expertise is a true example of being a team player.

And, of course, she does one of the most important jobs of all—keeping her principal on track! 😊 She keeps things organized, reminds me of what needs to be done, and helps make sure all of the moving pieces stay together.

There is so much that happens behind the scenes that people may not always see, but we certainly feel the impact of everything she does. She is someone we rely on for so much, and our school would not run nearly as smoothly without her.

Thank you for your dedication, dependability, positive attitude, and willingness to always help. You are an invaluable part of our Toltec Tiger family, and we appreciate you more than you know!

Daniel Baringer

K-5 Tiger of the Month

Daniel continues to show us what is possible through hard work, perseverance, and a positive attitude. He consistently makes choices that help him grow and succeed while encouraging those around him to do the same. He has shown so much growth both academically and behaviorally, and we are incredibly proud of the progress he continues to make. Daniel works hard, takes pride in completing his work, and always does his best.

What makes Daniel truly special is his kind and caring heart. He is respectful to his teachers and classmates, uses his words to communicate his needs, and is always willing to lend a helping hand to others. Daniel is the type of student who celebrates the success of those around him and helps create a positive and supportive classroom environment.

Daniel embodies what it means to be a Tiger through his perseverance, responsibility, kindness, and positive attitude. We are so proud to recognize Daniel as our Tiger of the Month and cannot wait to see all the great things he continues to accomplish!

Mason Chavez

Mason is a wonderful role model and a true example of what it means to be a great student. He consistently does exactly what his teachers and staff ask of him and always gives his very best effort.

Mason is respectful, responsible, and dependable. He treats others with kindness and compassion and is a great friend to his classmates. His positive attitude and willingness to help others make him a wonderful part of our school community.

Noe Martinez

Noe has been an absolute delight to have at school this year! He has shown excellent behavior and tremendous growth this school year. Noe is doing well academically and continues to put forth effort in his learning.

He comes to school with a positive attitude, great manners, and a willingness to do his best. He is responsible, respectful, and makes positive choices each day. His consistent attendance and commitment to being a successful student are also something to be proud of.
