I am SOOOO EXTREMELY proud of Mrs. Salvo. When I imagine an ideal teacher for my child, I picture her. Mrs. Salvo is teaching 3rd grade this year, a very important grade. Daily, she looks for ways to teach new concepts to her students in fun and motivating ways. Whether it’s singing, dancing, modeling at the board, or doing skits with her students, Mrs. Salvo is reaching her students everyday with high levels of student engagement. Her students’ ELA score overall, increased by 12.5 % in the first semester on the latest benchmark assessment, which is great improvement. Mrs. Salvo, is a valuable member of the PLC team. She contributes at all meetings and comes ready to learn and share. She has taken a lot of the strategies from PLC and implemented them in her classroom. She comes to work everyday with a positive attitude and smile on her face. You can tell that Mrs. Salvo loves her job. She treats her students like they are her own children. She is loving, kind, and holds them accountable for their work. Mrs. Salvo, I am so proud of you, all your hard work, and your dedication to our team. Thank you for being coachable, thank you for being a safe place for your students, and thank you for being someone I can always depend on to do what’s right.
