Accounting Coordinator-Immediate Opening
Job Title: Accounting Coordinator
Location: School District Office
Employment Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Exempt Position
Salary Range: $40,000–$55,000 annually

Position Summary:
The Accounting Coordinator supports the financial and administrative operations of the school district. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, assisting with human resources functions, and managing accounts receivable and payable. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage district payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and policies
  • Assist with HR functions, including onboarding, employee records management, and benefits coordination
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
  • Maintain financial records and assist with budget tracking and reporting
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
  • Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and stakeholders regarding financial matters
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred
  • Experience in payroll, accounting, or HR functions preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office

Bus Driver

We are hiring for Bus Drivers for the 2026-2027 school year!

Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, an Arizona State Commercial Driver’s License.  This is a 10-month position/Assistance available to obtain an Arizona State Commercial Driver's License.

Mechanic

Toltec School District is currently accepting applications for a mechanic for the Transportation Department.  You must have knowledge of school buses.  A CDL is helpful but not required.  Pay will be based on experience.

Speech and Language Pathologist

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Exempt – 10.5 Month Contract. Related Services Compensation Plan 
 
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The job of "Speech /Language Pathologist" involves assessing students’ speech development level; providing information for program development and student placement; improving students’ performance; and providing information on child development and/or issues on specific students to instructional personnel while under the direct supervision of Principal and Special Education Director.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: 
  • Assesses students’ communication skills (e.g. articulation, language, fluency, voice, etc.) for the purpose of determining their communication needs deficits and developing recommendations.
  • Consults with teachers, parents, other personnel and/or outside professionals for the purpose of providing requested information, developing plans for services and/or making recommendations.
  • Facilitate meetings (e.g. IEP conferences, parent meetings, in-services, etc.) for the purpose of developing plans and/or providing information regarding students’ functional goals.
  • Instruct students for the purpose of implementing goals for remediation of speech and language deficits.
  • Prepares documentation (e.g. evaluations, observations, progress, contacts with parents, teachers and outside professionals, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support, developing recommendations, and/or conveying information.
  • Presents information on various topics related to area of professional expertise for the purpose of communicating information and gaining feedback on treatment tissues.
  • Research resources and methods (i.e. intervention and treatment techniques, assessment tools and methods, community resources, etc.) for the purpose of determining appropriate approach for students’ speech and language services.
  • Screens students for the purpose of determining the need for further individualized assessment.
  • Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
  • Participates in various meetings (e.g. parent conferences, in-service training, site meetings, etc.) for the purpose of receiving and/or providing information and/or meeting credential requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Skills to apply assessment instruments, interpret test data and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of assessment instruments and their application, relevant education codes, state and district policies.
  • Abilities to complete a case study and develop an individual education plan, work independently, be flexible and work under time constraints, work effectively with staff, parents, students and community.
  • Significant physical abilities include lifting/carrying, reaching/handling/fingering, talking/hearing conversations and other sounds, near/far visual acuity/visual accommodation, and ability to sit for prolonged periods
  • Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Licensure for Speech Therapy Arizona Department of Education Certificate, Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card, Valid Driver’s License. Prior job experience preferred. Able to perform the following physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation: critical sensory requirements include general vision, corrected to 20/20, hear or listen in the normal range (corrected) and speak and give directions clearly.  Able to walk, sit, stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, lift (exerting force up to 50 pounds).

Physical Therapist

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Exempt, 10.5-month Contract. Related Services Compensation Plan.
 
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: To screen, evaluate and provide educationally relevant physical therapy for students while under the direct supervision of Principal and Special Education Director.
 
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: (essential functions)
  • Screens and evaluates students who qualify for physical therapy services.
  • Formulates and implements physical therapy programs and activities which are educationally relevant, such as head control, trunk control, balance, neurodevelopment sequencing and gait.
  • Serves on the Child Study Team and Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team to assist in determining student eligibility and need for services.
  • Collaborates with the educational team to develop students’ Individualized Education Plan.  Writes present levels of student performance and proposed objectives.
  • Completes and tracks goals for each student and distributes as outlined in the special education handbook.
  • Consults and collaborates with student’s teachers, families and others to facilitate therapeutic activities and programming.
  • Assists with fabricating, adjusting and ordering adaptive equipment to assist students in achieving therapy objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Knowledge of physical therapy policies, practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy activities specific to children.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws, rules and regulations as they apply to physical therapy in educational institutions.
  • Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures.
  • Knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and software applications
  • Skill in screening and evaluating the physical therapy needs of children.
  • Skill in formulating physical therapy programs and activities for children.
  • Skill in operating office equipment and computer hardware and software applications.
  • Skill in communicating orally and in writing.
  • Skill in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.

 
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physical therapy and two (2) years work experience with special needs children OR an equivalent combination or education and experience that provide the required knowledge and skill.
 
REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: CPT Certified and Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy License.
