Both Toltec School District Schools Earn National NJHS Recognition
Toltec School District is proud to announce that the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) chapters at
Toltec Elementary School and Arizona City Elementary School have earned the 2026 Chapter of Distinction
recognition, celebrating excellence in leadership, service, and impact!
Our district’s two schools represent two of only three chapters in
Arizona recognized this
year!
Chapters of Distinction is a national recognition program honoring chapters that demonstrate strong
leadership, sound operations, and a deep commitment to the five pillars of NJHS: scholarship, service,
leadership, character, and citizenship. This distinction recognizes chapters that meet all Essential
Standards and excel in key areas such as student governance and leadership development.
Receiving this honor at both schools in our district is a proud achievement for our entire community. It
celebrates our NJHS members’ dedication to leading with purpose, serving others, and making a positive
difference.
