Two teams of four art students each competed on Saturday, April 5 in the 10th annual Pat Catan’s “Iron Crafter”. Team #1 members were Robin Garofalo, Grace Wargo, Noah Ondik and Joe Anderson. Team #2 won the competition this year. Members were Rachel Falk, Kylie Chichester, Elizabeth Tarleton and Nicole Webster.
Teams were given a craft project theme, identical boxes of craft supplies and a “secret ingredient”. The teams race the clock as they plan their project, organize their crafting supplies and create their craft masterpiece.
Each student received a gift certificate for the store and the High School Art Dept. received a $100 gift certificate and the “Iron Crafter” trophy.
The craft designs are on display in the HS lobby.
